Customer service - Remote position, approximately 20 hours per week.

Do you have customer service experience? What kind and how long?
The position involves some work in Shopify which is the platform for the shop. Typing invoices, tagging Practitioners (after verification), editing orders. Are you comfortable with this?
The position involves accessing a shipping app called Shipping Easy. The most common question is WIMO “where is my order”. This can be looked up on Shipping Easy. Are you comfortable with this?
The customer service position has been vacant for several months. This means most emails convey a high degree of frustration, sometimes harsh. This is managed by apologizing, resolving the complaint, and thanking them for their patience. Rarely do we make excuses. We are busy. Other ways to resolve may be to refund shipping, offer a discount on the next order or a gift certificate. These are judgment calls that one must develop over time. Is this something you can do?
How is your follow up and attention to detail?
The Apothecary has a high energy field because of the type of work we do. As part of the group, you may be affected by this, even working remotely. This means that things might come up for you that are ready to be healed. Typically, these are unconscious entanglements, misconceptions, ancestral trauma and the like. How do you feel about this? Do you have a support structure?
The position starts at 20 hrs. per week. This is an independent contractor position with a 6 month probationary period. You are responsible for your own taxes and keeping track of your time.
The position is remote. A cell phone is provided to text the apothecary with questions and information. For example Order #12345 received the wrong potency. Invoice is typed in Shopify and marked paid. A new order number is generated and texted to the apothecary so it can move to the top of the queue.
The cell phone can also be used to contact Practitioners if the issue is time sensitive. We do not take phone orders or process credit cards.
Once the email is back to being managed in a timely manner, additional tasks may be added, with additional hours and an upgrade in pay. If you are only available for 20 hrs. per week, please indicate this.
Do you have experience writing a newsletter. Is this something you would be willing to take on in the future?
We may have follow-up questions by email and zoom conversations will be scheduled in early December. Training starts in December while we are closed. The learning curve takes more time for some tasks. You will be given guidance and training for all the tasks included in this position. If you are not available in December please indicate this, there is some flexibility here.
